The goal at NEW DAY English Language School is to equip all of our students with genuine English proficiency. English is used in every country in the world. Being able to speak English leads to learning more about the world around you. However, due to the closed environment in Japan, English proficiency as a communication tool is not as high as compared to other countries. Why does Japan lag behind other countries when it comes to English while having such an excellent culture and national character? The answer is simple. It's just that a good education system hasn't been built up yet. At NEW DAY English Language school we are confident that our teachers and innovative learning system will give you the ability to develop your English skills in the long run.

It's a NEW DAY!

NEW DAY 英会話 は、1982年にアップルイングリッシュとして創立して以来、ここ自治医大で30年に渡り英会話レッスンの場を提供し続けて参りました。 どんどん狭くなる世界、グローバリゼーションへの準備として、日本の皆さんが当たり前のように英語で世界とコミュニケーションを図る事が出来るようになる・・・そんな夢を描きこの学校を始めたのです。

  アップルイングリッシュ創立者である岩村透は当時ヨーロッパで3年間を過ごし、そこでは英語圏でなくても英語が当然のように話されている事実に衝撃を受けました。 そして帰国後、日本人がそのように語学を習得するには何かが決定的に足りないということを悟ったのです。 日本人が英語で世界の人々とコミュニケーションがとれるようになるという理想を実現するため、その足りない何かを埋める最善のカリキュラムと最高の講師陣を整えて発足致しました。

   この理想はまだ現実から遠く離れていますが、我々はこの30年間、たくさんの方々が抵抗なく、自信をもって英語でコミュニケーションが取れるように手助けをして参りました。 そして、これからも英語への自信をもっていただくための種を撒き続けていきたいと考えいています。 

Since its founding as Apple English in 1982, NEW DAY English Language School has been providing a place for English conversation lessons in Tochigi prefecture for the past 30 years. In preparation for the ever-narrowing world and globalization, NEW DAY English Language School was started with the following dream in mind: 

Japanese people will be able to confidently communicate with the world in English in the future.

  Toru Iwamura, the founder of Apple English, spent three years in Europe at the time, where he was shocked by the fact that English was spoken naturally, even though many Europeans are not native English speakers. After his return, he realized that something was missing for Japanese people to learn English. To realize this idea that Japanese people can communicate with people around the world in English, we have prepared a sound curriculum and the best teachers to fill in the missing gaps.

   This ideal is still far from reality, but for the last three decades, we have helped many people communicate comfortably and confidently in English. And I would like to continue to sow the seeds to give you the confidence to communicate in English.
